Open Call for Oxford based performers, artists, dancers & writers

An open call for Oxford based performers, artists, dancers, writers to set a Creative Challenge for children and young people. Oxfordshire Kindness Wave aims to set a series of Creative Challenge’s by local creatives aiming to create conversations and challenges that give young people much needed comfort and distraction, and provide opportunities to create happy moments during this challenging time. If you would like to set a creative challenge then please submit your proposal (max 1-side A4) outlining your idea, the art form(s) involved, the age range it is aimed at and what the young people will end up creating. Before you summit your proposal, please consider that our aim is to make each challenge inclusive for all participants and therefore please consider and be mindful of the clarity of the activity, whether previous knowledge or experience is required, possible limited amount of space and resources of the participants and that material is age appropriate for 5-16 years old. All selected proposals will be expected to be deliver their challenge via video. Creative Challenges will be selected by a panel, including young people and their carers. We will respond back and let you know if your Creative Challenge has been selected and how to submit the challenge. Artists will be expected to produce a short video of their challenge to be included on the Oxfordshire Kindness Wave Website. Further brief will be given to all successful artists with clear guidelines to produce your videos plus artist fee.
