The form is now closed and we will be contacting people in the new year with more opportunities!
Everyone who has filled in a form to volunteer on Christmas day will be invited to a virtual training event on Wednesday 18th December 2024.
The Oxfordshire Christmas Dinner is a heartfelt event that brings together 50 amazing care leavers for a joyful celebration filled with love, community, and festive cheer. But we can’t do it without you!
Why Volunteer? For many care leavers, Christmas can be a time of loneliness. By joining us as a volunteer, you’ll help create a magical day they will never forget. From a scrumptious meal and thoughtful gifts to fun activities and meaningful connections, your support will show these young adults that they are valued and loved.
When Do We Need You? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help on any or all of the following days:
- Christmas Eve (24th December): Help us set up the venue, wrap gifts, decorate, and ensure everything is ready for the big day.
- Christmas Day (25th December): Be part of the magic! Assist with serving meals, hosting activities, and spreading Christmas cheer.
- Boxing Day (26th December): Help us tidy up, pack away decorations, and reflect on the joy we shared with our guests.
