Creative Challenge : Repetition (without rhyme!)

Repetition is a great tool in poetry and helps make your point loud and clear (just like your teacher, parent or carer might tell you to do something over and over again…).  Karl’s challenge  is to write a poem using repetition – but remember it does not have to rhyme.

First, decide what your line of repetition will be – it could be I love Fortnite, or I love music – the choice is yours. Each stanza in your repetition poem will be made of 4 lines and the fourth line will be always be your chosen repetition.  In poetry, a stanza is a grouped set of lines within a poem. You can write out theses lines to help you guide your poem: Line 1 Line 2 Line 3 Line 4: Repetition This is a great to start writing poetry!

Have fun!
