Anish Kapoor is considered one of the most influential sculptors working today. He won the Turner prize in 1991, and his works are permanently exhibited in the most important collections and museums around the world, from the Museum of Modern Art in New York to the Tate in London. Recent solo exhibitions include Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich, Germany (2020); Houghton Hall Norfolk, U.K (2020), the Central Academy of Fine Arts Museum and Imperial Ancestral Temple in Beijing (2019). Kapoor is also world renowned for his public projects which include works such as Cloud Gate (2004), in Millennium Park, Chicago, USA; Orbit (2012) in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London and Ark Nova, the worlds first inflatable concert hall created for Lucerne Festival, Japan (2013).
